Before you jump to Lamb & sweet potato curry recipe, you may want to read this short interesting healthy tips about Tracking Your Food: The way to Do It.
When you begin your diet one of the things you will learn right away is that maintaining a food journal is very helpful. Keeping your food record not only helps you see clearly what you are having, it helps you see what you are not eating. For example, after you keep a food journal for a few days you could notice that while you eat lots of fruit, you almost never eat any vegetables. Having it all written down will help uou determine the elements of your diet that need to change as well as how much exercise you need to get to make sure that you burn enough calories to keep your waistline in check.
Record the time of day time you take in things. This can help you determine what times of day you feel the most hungry, when you usually reach for snacks and then you can figure out how to deal with those times. Youll observe, for example, that though you eat lunch at the very same time every day, you also--without fail--start to snack as little as an hour later, every day. This will even make it easier to identify the times when you start to eat simply to give yourself something to do. This is incredibly valuable because understanding when youre vulnerable to snacking will help you fill those times with alternative activities that will keep you away from the candy aisle.
Write down your emotions while you eat. This could show you whether you use meals to solve emotional issues. It will also identify the foodstuffs you select when you are in certain moods. There a wide range of people who seek junk food when they feel angry or depressed and are just as likely to pick out healthy things when they feel happy and content. Not only will this let you notice when you reach for particular foods based on your mood, it will help you find ways to keep healthier (but similar) options on hand for those same moods and help you figure out whether or not someone professional can help you deal with the issues that are sending you towards certain foods in the first place.
